Evolution has finally taken it's toll. The band has a quintet line-up that we've been searching for all along. Gutteral, raw, vocals along with some smooth female vocals distinguish this album from the rest, not to mention that the stuff "ryps". The band is intent on keeping the music fun as well as hardcore. The album is more eclectic and Strych-Nine has made it a point to not compromise on anything we think is a hit. The music runs the gamut from hardcore to punk to pop metal. Material on this album was up for four Grammy nominations in 2001 and 2002. "Better Than That" was up for a Grammy in 2001, when it was released as a single. "Bad Weather", "Fun In Violence" and "One Bad Ass Song", were up for nominations in the Hard Rock category and the album was up for Rock Album. Recently (2019) the original album was remixed and remasterd. The new version is available.

The live show intensity has risen and the band's desire to show the
  musical
world the realm of Strych-Nine composition keeps reminding us that we
  are
about the music and not about the competition.  Every show may not
  be
sold out, but then again neither do we.  Whether it's for 10 or
  10,000,
the band holds our fans in the highest esteem and we make damn sure
  that
  each show is the best.
Don't have a
heart attack, the "Beer There Done That Tour" has ended, but the "One Bad Ass
  Tour"
  promises to wreak havoc.
The members of the band at this time were:
Heath - vocals, rhythm guitar
J-Bone - lead guitar
Stevie G. - bass
Russ - drums
Juanita - backing vocals
