Although "Cardiac Arrest" was their first album, "Lucid Visions" was the first release by Strych-Nine.  "Lucid Visions" is a clear insight of the raw, deep feelings of the band.  The fact that the band was able to pull this first album off was remarkable, considering the band had no experience, direction or help (especially money).

After all the beer, several bong hits and lost women, the album was created.  In support of the album, we started the eternal "Beer There, Done That" tour.  On our journey in the tour, we were graced with being able to bail the singer out of jail.  We were also blessed with audience members that knew lyrics to a band they had never heard before.  Hell, even Steve didn't know the words!

All-in-all the album rocks.  Yes, we still listen to it and play or song or two off it from time to time.
